Our story

Built out of need.

ADMAIS started as a handful of tech projects built for friends and family — people running small businesses in marginalized communities, where the software that could actually help them was almost always priced out of reach.

So we built cheaper alternatives that did the same job. ADMAIS grew out of that need: technology built for the people the industry too often leaves behind.

The name

ADMAIS

ADMAIS stands for Advanced Digital Media and Artificial Intelligence Systems.

It’s pronounced like “advise” — the two vertical strokes of the M are silent.

Maybe that’s never been done before. But here, we believe in doing things that haven’t been done before.

About ADMAIS

Global Engineering, Local Impact.

ADMAIS is a technology company building scalable software platforms that address critical economic, educational, and healthcare challenges in underserved communities.

Backed by over 15 years of professional, US-level software engineering—from cloud architecture and enterprise systems to AI products and digital media—we bring world-class technical standards directly to the communities we serve.

We do not just build software; we build capacity. We operate as a deeply integrated partnership between US engineering and local teams, meaning the people engineering our platforms are working directly on the ground. Through platforms like BusiCat, Scala’s Shelf, OpenCare HIS, and Digiweaver, we are committed to driving MSME digital transformation, creating local tech jobs, and modernizing health infrastructure.

When you partner with us, you are collaborating with a dedicated, locally invested team that bridges international innovation with real-world, local implementation.

Team experience

Our team brings 15+ years of experience from the United States, building software for large market-leading organizations across enterprise platforms, ed-tech, insurance, media, and e-commerce. The portfolio below reflects work our staff has delivered for organizations including 3M, Digital Transformation Solutions, Businessolver, Renaissance Learning, Western National, AirVuz, Sigma Beauty, and Jostens.

Today, our in-house engineering team focuses this enterprise-level expertise on building and scaling our core capacity-building platforms: BusiCat, Scala’s Shelf, OpenCare HIS, and Digiweaver.

Our Mission

To dismantle the digital divide by building native, community-centered technology. We empower underserved populations with the digital infrastructure needed to learn, earn, and safeguard community health on their own terms.

Our Approach

  1. Offline-first — Built for low-connectivity and remote areas—our platforms run fully offline and sync when a connection is available.
  2. Native languages — Delivered in each community's own language—Lao and Thai today, with Chinese and Vietnamese to follow.
  3. Low-cost devices — Designed to run on the affordable Android phones communities already own—not hardware they would have to buy.
  4. Community-owned — Capacity-building by design—tools meant to be owned, operated, and sustained by the communities they serve.
